This Sunday we looked at some ways to practically seek out what gifts God has given to us and how to grow them.

Vision & Values Sunday: Love God

This vision and values Sunday we explored the part of the our vision to 'love God'. This comes first in our vision for a reason as to be loved by God and to love Him in return is where it all starts. How do you experience God's love for you?

Gifted - Works

This Sunday we looked at the service gifts that are given by the Holy Spirit and how these gifts in particular can be considered less important when in reality they are vital to the life and building up of the Church.

Gifted - Wonders

This week we looked at what has been called the 'wonder' gifts, exploring what they are and what their place is in the body, the Church.

Mother's Day

On this Mother's day we wanted to say thanks to all the mums and mother figures for the huge faith in God they show in practical ways, day to day. Mums we are so blessed by you, CBC wouldn't be what it is with out you. We love you and honour you for all that you do!

Gifted - Empowered

This week in our series it was also a Vision & Values Sunday and so we looked at our value of being 'empowered by the Spirit'. The amazing thing is that when Jesus left this earth he didn't abandon his church but instead empowered it through the Holy Spirit. Question is what does valuing and living an empowered life look like today?

Gifted - Diversity United

This week we looked at how the Holy Spirit gives gifts to unite and build up the Church and what happens when the we focus on the reason they were given and use them in the way they are intended.

Gifted - Indwelt By God

This Sunday we kicked off the second part of our 'Gifted' series, focusing on spiritual gifts. We took time to stop and firstly look at the gift giver the Holy Spirit, who He is and what His role has been through history, what it is now and what it will be in the future.

Vision & Values Sunday: There & Here

This V&V Sunday we looked at our value compassion for the needy and how we don't need to go to distant lands to start praying that God would move us in to peoples lives that are in need.
