The Church - A Building Without Bricks

Imagine a building without bricks, wood and iron; a construction formed without human effort and design - The church is that building. Many churches meet in buildings, temples, chapels, but these are not the buildings described in God’s Word: we are! Today we want to dig down and discover the churches foundation and then inspect the stone work that is being laid on it, one brick-like individual at a time.

What is this thing we call ‘Church’? There are so many ideas and connotations tied up with that one word.

The Church had a beginning and has a foundation which binds all believers together. Matthew 16 records the first mention of the Church and contains deep insight into the foundational truth on which the Church is built.

This Sunday we celebrated Father's day and all the amazing dads and dad figures God has given us. We also celebrated the calling God the Father has placed on each one of us and how he wants to change the world through us His kids.
