Though we come as equals to the table, our diversity will at times produce disagreement which if unresolved can cause division. Conflict among family is a very painful experience but forgiveness and reconciliation so beautiful and freeing.

Why are there divisions and conflicts in the church community? What are some of the big divisions and conflicts in the early church? How did they resolve these, or did they? What are some of the things that cause division and conflict in the church today? How might we best resolve conflict and remain around the table?

Love One Another - There is Room for All Around the Table

Jesus is the one who brings us to the table, therefore we are all equals. And yet we are all different - equality doesn't mean identical. Some of our diversity is beautiful and some of it is not. Discerning this is vital in creating a new culture that embraces the beauty of each other's uniqueness and culture, while transforming the brokenness we also each share.

What would diversity in unity look like at CBC? In how we meal together, how we show compassion, how we make decisions, how we celebrate, how we pray, how we worship.
