This Sunday Andrew shared his vision and passion for what could be the CBC culture around faith and finance. How can someone engage in worshipful and generous giving at CBC? Andrew answered this and gave us practical processes for considering your personal giving and how to action this. We also include a break down of the current financial situation at CBC.

Love One Another - #BLESSED

Money is just the currency of our ‘stuff’. The Giver of all good things entrusts this ‘stuff’ for a short season to us. So what do I do with it? This Sunday took a look at the story of the church of Macedonia and the church of Corinth and Paul’s instruction to them found in 2 Corinthians 8-9.

Generous, thoughtful, prayerful, proportionate giving is encouraged. And to those entrusted with this generous giving, wise stewardship is required. What does it look like as a giver to be ‘blessed’.

Love One Another - Family Matters

Yes family does matter around here.  When it comes to Loving One Another at CBC not only do we need to be contributors but we also need to learn how to honour the generational diversity of our CBC Family.This Sunday we will consider the story of Timothy and how he experienced the richness of loving and being loved by both young and old in his life.

Paul uses the picture of a family to help Timothy better relate to people who are older and younger in his life. The questions we looked at after this morning's message where:

• How does this picture help or not help you?
• What do you think this picture was intended to mean?
• What can you do to become closer to and value those who are a different generation than your own here at City Bible Church?

This Sunday we continued our Love One Another series as we learned what it is to be a spiritual contributor not consumer. 

SEEK - Paul

This Sunday is our final Seek series story where we will be following the example of Paul as he sought God to remove the 'thorn from his flesh'. What happens when there seems to be no answer from God? Or if the answer is 'no' or 'not now'? Pastor Campbell will be teaching us how sometimes His answer can simply be 'trust me, I am enough for you'.
